KNOWLEDGE: Operating systems, spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software, e-mail, Internet browsers and information retrieval.
COMPETENCES: Acquisition of basic computer skills to carry out personal processing activities and to develop programming skills for the course of “Elementi di Informatica” using appropriate instrumentation and teaching materials.
Skills acquired at the end of the course:
know how to use a personal computer, know the main office automation products and be able to use the Internet (in addition to completing the preparation for “Elementi di Informatica” course).
The acquisition of credits is only subject to the frequency, which is therefore compulsory. There are no final exams. Students of the Degree Course in Statistics unable to attend, in whole or in part, may request to undertake a substitute activity; this possibility does not extend to students attending other degree courses.

Use local and Internet network.
Fortran tutorials, supporting the course of “Elementi di Informatica” (activity of 6 CFUs).
