KNOWLEDGE: Spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software, e-mail, Internet browsers and information retrieval.
COMPETENCES: Acquisition of basic computer skills to carry out personal processing activities and to develop programming skills for the course of "Elementi di Informatica" using appropriate instrumentation and teaching materials.
Skills acquired at the end of the course:
know how to use a personal computer, know the main office automation products and be able to use the Internet (in addition to completing the preparation for "Elementi di Informatica" course).

The acquisition of credits is only based on the attendance, which is compulsory. There is no final exam. Students of the Degree Course in Statistics who are unable to attend the lectures may requere to undertake a substitute activity.
Students attending other degree courses do not have this option.
