The Workshop introduces students to the use of data management, data visualization and data analysis tools. In particular, we will guide the students using the MySQL language and the STATA statistical software.
The laboratory foresees the active participation of the students and the carrying out of at least four homework. The exercises carried out during the course are integral to the final evaluation.
The study material will be provided in class and available on the course's Moodle page.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the workshop, students can use the MySQL language for querying one or more tables and creating complex views and queries. Students can also manipulate data sets in STATA for generating graphs and tables.
